Look, I'm always busy!
Gre7g Luterman's novel Skeleton Crew, and its sequel(s) Small World are getting published soon by Thurston Howl, and I've been slated to do all illustrations this time around. As such, I needed to actually figure out once and for all exactly how I am going to draw the species of said books, which it's high time I did since the Hayven Celestia universe is technically mine.
This time, though, the design I wanted for the krakun is NOT based off on Kyoht's original artwork for Skeleton Crew. Sorry, Ky! I know you wanted to go against Furry Expectations with your toad-like design, but I reeeeally would much rather go with my first concept of the krakun as Awesome And Terrible Space Dragon Overlords. It's just more fun that way. But look! I kept the three-tipped tongue!
Ten Thousand Miles Up was supposed to be a one-shot short story! How did it end up like this? IT WAS ONLY A KISS

I love how you usually include the footprints of these creatures. Few artists think such things are very important.
Because yeah well, footpaws... :)
I would like to say that I am wondering though about the creature's forepaw manual dexterity. Those foretoes look pretty short. One of the principle qualities of hands and their ability to grasp is the lengths of the fingers. I wouldn't imagine that these forepaws would be able to pick up or use anything with any measurable delicacy.
Just my two cents. Still nice looking paws, though, and the beastie is looking quite nice, too!

just started Theives liars and traitors. Dun like mandatory execution at 60, corporate furry is a little like van sant's Children of Steel, but they have the chance to buy their debt off, does not look like the Geroos can. it still hasn't explained to me why they don;t wear clothing, but i will keep reading.
