Infested Deerling. The oldest surviving model of my Minecraft work, over three and a half years old. Despite that, it too possesses some of the finest animation in Minecraft including jumping/falling/running/walking though implemented in Kindred Legacy 1.0.1 and not the original release (the distinct running/walking however is not as refined as other mob models). The model class comes in at slightly over 500 lines of code, compared to the iconic Creeper at a little over 75 lines.

Very little has changed with its behavior since its original implementation. It's still a basic melee mob that focuses more on status effects over damage. It is a troubling mob in Minecraft 1.11 to deal with because of how tiny it is to hit and you cannot spam sword swings.

While not what I'd consider an iconic mob to my mod work, it is still a classic. ^^
