Genie Rarity: Actually, I was being rather silly there. I’m not romantically involved with Parcly in the long run, I’m more with my genie Fluttershy.
However, there was a point to me swooning Parcly for the genie dance party. Her heart is cold and quite fragile, her windigo companion Spindle having frozen it when she was younger. Sure, Princess Luna helped turn Spindle into a more friendly creature, but overall Parcly still tends to avoid other ponies altogether.
Dancing is one of the best ways to warm a pony’s heart. Since we’re genies, performing all the vivid twists and lunges is much easier compared to ordinary ponies. It is this activity that I chose to introduce Parcly to the beauty of love.
Parcly Taxel: Oh, and about the Bailamos I mentioned near the end? It is Spanish for “we dance” and also a song I’ve heard a few times.
