---"Gliding with grace among the clouds, these beautiful gauntlets combine the vastness of the sky with the most delicate of designs. Wearing these, one would feel like royalty among the heavens..."---

Out of all the gauntlets I made, I think these ones are my favorites. I wanted to come up with a design that embodied the glorious wonder that is the sky, but I didn't want it to be all skylines and clouds. That felt too childish and simple. Air is the element of freedom! But it is also graceful like a gentle breeze carrying a petal across the land. The layered design was super tricky to figure out, and colors were a challenge by themselves. Ultimately, I went with a combination of gold, white, and silver, with just a hint of sky blue to blend it all together. Then I made a bunch of feathers and hand painted them before attaching them to either side of the gauntlets. ^_^
They came out SOOOOO GOOD! So I just started adding detail after detail, and once I riveted all the pieces together and placed it on my arm, I noticed it hardly covered anything. :/ Hmm... How to fix that, without making it look goofy? I played around with some pieces of foam until I made the underarm pieces and textured them like the fingers. WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES!!! They look so elegant and beautiful! And the blue stripes in the claws actually glow in the dark. :D I'm seriously debating on keeping these ones for myself.
The elemental gemstone is made from clear resin that was painted in layers to give a 3D effect to the symbol embedded inside it.
