When certain species of minotaurs propose to one-another, they present nose-rings rather than finger rings.
In this case, Lostcat decided to make his proposal special by buying a magically enchanted nose ring, to MAKE a minotaur out of his fiancee. So when he opened the box, it magically flew and resized and reshaped Vanious to fit.
He was clearly shocked, but also quite happy in the end with the results and agreed to marry him.
Then they sat down and ate Gyros.
