I know it's been said before but it bears repeating - Albert Temple was the kindest, most supportive artist so many of us have ever met. I attended Conifur '99 by myself and was incredibly nervous. He greeted me as if I were a long time friend and did this amazing sketch in the con sketchbook I was notoriously too shy to ask anyone to sketch in. He was also the only person to draw Red as me which is incredibly touching.
