Regardless of their stance on the matter, XCOM is, always has been, and always will be an equal opportunity employer. Regardless of what gender, race, cybernetic enhancements, psionic powers, or even species you are, so long as you want to shoot an alien in the face, you can find a place there. This includes aliens like Shego here. A new type of Viper that underwent extensive modifications... At least until XCOM caught and freed her. Now willing to help XCOM with her natural alien abilities and psionic powers, XCOM just leveled the ground war.

However, she isn't without her silly side. Here she is off duty and reading some human culture. Which she isn't supposed to be reading. Well, more accurately, the elders forbade her from reading human culture. They're not here, are they? But she still feels embarrassment if you catch her.
