Sky reached into the box expecting to pull out a large gem... and in a way, he did. But not the way he'd expected.

What he pulled out, to his surprise, was a portable video game cartridge. Looking it over and scratching his head in confusion, Sky supposed that Firelight must have accidentally dropped the game into the box. He was about to set the cart aside and look for something else when a powerful feeling overwhelmed him.

Sky had just barely enough time to realize that the game had been among the gems for so long that it had absorbed their magical energies. After that, his thoughts began to slow to a halt. All he knew was that he needed to keep the game with him. He wasn't complete without the game cartridge.

After all...

Firelight picked up her Sky Gear system. "Oh! I've been looking all over for this game! Glad I found it again. Well, let's get to playing it again.

Sky had one request in particular - to be turned into something inanimate. So what better thing to do than change him into something very similar to and yet legally-distinct from a Sega Game Gear! ...Man, my nostalgia is all over the place at the moment.

I was going to make him into a not-Game Boy, but fucking everyone has done that now. ...Thanks, Adventure Time. >.<
