As I said the last time, I was an insatiable table top gamer since the mid 1970's. for 20 years i would be gaming at lunch time (OGRE, GEV, Melee/ Wizard)< and after school (D&D, AD&D, Bushido, Champions, cyberpunk 2020) and for a short while it was my career. I illustrated a few rule books for various companies in the late 80's and 90's. Well adulthood claimed my friends and they all got jobs in the video game industries, got families and moved away, effectively throttling table top gaming. I got even more isolated moving to los Angeles in 2005, as I knew no one down here and was too busy with work and "adult" stuff to join the local scene. it wasn't until recently, that through people in Second Life, that I discovered the site, known as, roll20.net. The site is place where the use of teleconferencing-like software, adapted to gamer's needs has been used to facilitate a "table top game-like" environment where players across the U.S., Canada, and Europe can join together to play Tabletop games like D&D Fifth Edition, Pathfinder, Shadowrun, and others. Now my prefered system is The Hero System, but it has not been fully implemented there (yet), but it has been fun playing in various Pathfinder games. recently another player and I brainstormed (conspired) and decided to play a pair of "Lupines".
This is the other player's character Waya, of the Anawaya tribe, who is the party's spell caster. she's from a different tribe than Asheru, but the two of them bonded on the road. Waya had a very different and complicated background but unlike Asheru she can read and write and cast spells. She has also been in human lands longer and conceals her looks. this will be moved to Scraps when the full color line-less is done. Pencil on Bristol board. R U G G E L S / 2 0 1 7

This is very nice, with the disposition of her fingers, the elegant shape of her cloaked body with the embroidered symbols at the corners. Very nice look also w/only the tip of the muzzle poking out. The use of circle templates(?) and/or compass is also very nice with those strong confident circles around the things. The scimitar also looks very good. This is what a wizard should look like.
I've played the recent release of the original ogre that came in a plastic bag, and I found it quite fun, you have a few paper maps and cardboard tokens you push out and it's quite good fun.

I looked up the Hero System and I find it interesting that it used a point buy system for character stats, since it always amazed me, esp. after reading a chapter in a book about odds of getting certain results with d6s, how random and somewhat arbitrary and unfair rolling for stats seems. Curious how long rolling for stats in DnD hung on.
Well even D&D and Pathfinder have Points buys, as alternates, and they also have different roll systems where you roll 4 dice (sometimes more) and pick the top three and then sort the characteristics into the numbers optimal for the class you are building.
There was a wonderful Introduction to the Hero System PDF that was available, until Drop Box ended public links to Free accounts on the 15th of this month and I would have linked it to you. I will see if I can find it, but the blessing of that system is not only the point build, but the use of 6 sided dice only, which kept things streamlined. the meechanics were consistent across the board for skills, and attack rolls.
Let me know if you need more information.

For whatever reason really liking the outfit, it does fit well as well as good pose there. This would look nice definitely if getting colored sometime I'd think. As well, admitting trying to hold the fingers in similar way as there, giving points especially from left hand's posing cause that one makes at last mine hurt! XD
