Okays, the dealio with this here story is that it is a prequel to The Dark Shard, the comic me and Zai are working on, and will be following the younger life of Mace Merryn. For those not in the know, Mace is the father of TDS's lead character Julia and features in that storyline himself. As for his position in the Dark Shard world he was one of the 4 heroes to slay a great demon called The Darkness, and this is the story of those events.

I'm trying to keep this story moving along at a quicker pace than I normally do, I tend to drag stories out for a while and for once I'm gonna try getting from A to B via only C instead of the entire alphabet.

Not sure how long this will be in total, or if I will ever finish it (I'm terrible for doing that) but I have an ending planned so, we'll have to see.
