These are my banana plants. They just came in the mail today. :D They make me happy. Bananas!
If I am very lucky I may get fruit from them. I've got my fingers crossed.

They're absolutely beautiful! :D I do hope they give you fruit. :) We had banana trees in Florida. Every year after you pick the fruit, you have to cut them down. That way, they'll grow and bear fruit again the next year. <3 I don't know if that is all types of banana plants or just our variety, so I'd do some research before taking a hacksaw to these babies after they give you food <3
Plants are amazing.

Oh wow! :D I hope they do bear fruit so you can take pictures. :)
That's one thing I loved about Florida. Bananas everywhere. :) Bananas and bamboo (another cool plant you should grow <3). Man, you got me wanting a banana plant now. XD I love that you like plants. :D It's someone else to talk to about them.
I have cucumbers, pumpkins, strawberries (won't bear fruit until next year, though), cantaloupe, watermelon, beefsteak tomatoes, red pear tomatoes (bite-size), green beans, snap peas, scarlet nantes carrots (if I have an extra packet, I'd be happy to mail some to you!), sweet onions, green onions, cherry radishes, daikon radishes, romaine lettuce, bell peppers, sweet corn (can't grow it this year, too late), shirley corn poppies, and giant columbines. :) I really hope my flowers grow. I can grow veggies no problem, but flowers tend to hate me. X3
I would love to get some fruit trees, especially peach trees. Not sure how well peaches would do up in Indiana, though. I might get an apple tree. :) Apples grow great around here. Too bad citrus doesn't grow well here. I'd love a lemon tree. Everyone needs a lemon tree. You can do so much with it! XD
Best of luck to you and your plants. ^__^ Plants make the best friends. :) They never judge you, never say the wrong thing, and they're *always* there for you when you feel sad.

He he he. Them and the cats. Though then the cats try to eat my plants. >.< I'm growing them catgrass so that they'll have something they can eat.
I'd love to get some carrots! I should go post my latest full garden photo. I have a lot of things, but no carrots. Are they actually red? I've seen purple carrots, they were bizarre.

Catgrass is a great idea :) I hope the farmer's horses don't escape and eat my garden! I'm going to have to get chicken wire to keep out the rabbits and deer. If I see a deer eating my garden, we're having venison for supper!

I gave the last packet of my carrot seeds to my aunt, but when I talked to her today, she didn't mention planting the carrots this year. She said she is growing tomatoes, eggplant, and green beans. So, when I talk to her on Sunday, I'll ask her about the carrots. If she isn't going to plant them, I'll have her give me the seeds back and I'll mail them to you. :D I'll get more carrot seeds next year if she wants to grow then. I get my seeds from an organic farm in Iowa and he always sends me carrots seeds as a little something extra. :)
Speaking of purple, I wanted to grow purple cauliflower this year, but no one in the house seems to care for cauliflower. I'd really love to get some broccoli and brussel sprouts. Brussel sprouts are my favorite vegetable of all. <3
