oh no he's not suffering, he is loving life as the furby equivalent of a vivisected lab rat. he blows me kisses often and farts happily
idk much about robotics but so long as his wiring, chipboard, and motor aren't damaged and are connected properly, he could hypothetically work as a pile of parts connected only as loosely as they need to function. the fur and shell are just to protect his insides and give him shape/hugability - i should probably put both back on honestly, i worry he may get dust in his guts

he's almost 20 y/o now and even my 7 y/o dog robot is getting creaky so i'm amazed he's lasted this long
