Yosh grinned knowingly as he reached for his prize. Being a test subject for magic-users and scientists alike, he was no stranger to being transformed. And this was a new twist on an old trick for the veteran.

The gem he pulled out was brimming with a powerful -albeit subdued - magical energy. It resonated within his mechanical gauntlet. Finally he released the gem which then hovered before him. In his mind he heard a whispering voice "Has one come to restore light to the crystal at long last?"

"I can't rule out that possibility," Yosh answered, "but I have a feeling that my current form isn't going to cut it for the task, is it?"

"You speak with a keen insight. Indeed, I am Adrammelech, Totema of the bangaa race. Should you take on this task, you will be transported into our realm and take the form of those I answer to."

Yosh's grin widened. "A bangaa, huh? Well, let's not keep this party waiting! I'm ready when you are!"

"Then, in the parlance of your land... Let's do this," the crystal replied.

Okay, okay. I did two Final Fantasy ones in a row. But how could I NOT include a bangaa? Those things are AWESOME!

(I also want to point out that it took a lot of willpower to not make someone named "Yosh" into a Yoshi. But that would have been a BIT too obvious. XD)

Alright, I can assure you that the next one very well might possibly not be from Final Fantasy. I mean, there's a reasonable chance. Maybe 50%... give or take.
