I suck at drawing Yoshis.... or is that yoshi? Well at any rate here is the rough work for Tek's engineer/ex-adventurer yoshi self.
Laser cannon arm, mech grabbing arm, booster jump boots, pockets everywhere, multi use goggles (with optional laser pointer) and of course a wrench...because no good mechanic would be without one.
