There are so many awesome things about this, I don't even know where to begin.
I love the eyes. They're so real looking. I know I mentioned that in the stream, but I think it's worth repeating. They are really amazing to look at. And then there's the careful eye for anatomy details. Everything looks right on the money for that. I like the touch where the gas is hitting the victim on the back, so it's the back that's most transformed, creeping towards the front as the monster's breath flows past. And from a design perspective, the color choice of the gas; purple gas with yellow sparks - complementary colors. Good choice to highlight the magical element.
The way the characters are posed gives a great sense of helplessness to the victim. The giant toad looming above, the inward-drawn posture of the victim who is small by comparison (and growing smaller!). You just feel the victim's fear. They totally (toadally?) didn't mean to bother the beast and really regret it now, but apologies won't help. You trespassed in the Arcane Toad's territory and it's going to remove the perceived threat. Nothing you can do but accept it (and get used to the taste of bugs).
I love basically everything about this!
