New York city! Also known as the big apple. Home to fashion, stage shows, and the biggest traffic jams in all the 50 states! It is a wonder that people are able to get ANYWHERE! While trying to walk around and navigate the busy streets, I ended up in the Bronx. With my phone dead from forgetting to charge it the night before, I wondered around trying to find a bus depot or someplace that had maps.

Luckily I came across a fire station and knew for sure I would be able to get some help there. When I first walked in I stopped to look at the fire engine because, why not? It's a fire truck! While looking it over, I was approached from behind by none other than the chief of the station himself, Mr. Cole Phillips. My initial interest in the truck was instantly pushed to the back of my mind by my new interest in the topless hunk of gorilla standing before me.

After exchanging introductions and telling him my circumstances, he was nice enough to write me out directions on how to get back to the main streets and which subways to take to get back to my hotel. As I was about to leave, I had a sudden impulse to get to know more about the gorilla. I told him about my writings and asked him if we would be willing to sit down with me for an interview. With a big grin (and I am sure I saw him puff out his chest) he happily agreed.
