Roxanne was born with a defect similar to gigantism. However, her body produced muscle growth and stimulants as well as growth hormones. At the age of six she was already the taller than most of the fifth graders. This was when Roxanne's parents started to home school her. They were afraid that she would become the target of bullying and teasing. To avoid it altogether they cut her from regular school. Roxanne developed a lonely and sad lifestyle. That is, until she convinced her parents on something. A local karate/martial arts dojo was having signups and Roxanne wanted to go. Her parents argued, but she told them that she couldn't let her body sit around the house her whole life. In a reluctant choice, they allowed. Roxanne was shocked when the master, Ryuga, had gigantism himself! This gave Roxanne courage in herself and wanted to not be bothered by her condition.

Roxanne is a cheerful and playful girl. She doesn't entirely know her own strength but is learning. She doesn't mind helping out someone with anything. She can be a bit of a flirt, specifically to one person in her class, but she jokes around a lot. She's a big fan of Ryuga, and does almost anything he says. Its borderline crushing at this point.
