Been working on building the monster world me and  JuicyDemon share, and recently we've been trying to build the Eastern Continents, and during our brainstorming he mentioned Kitsune, but I didn't want to do them in a typical sense.

Still a work in process, I had the idea of the, part fox, part goddess, sort of vibe. An all female race of shape shifters, whom wear masks their infancy which obscure their faces. They only remove upon marriage. Shapeshifters and tricksters by nature they can change their own form and how people perceive them, but their base form is always overwhelmingly animalistic, whether their face is that of a human or a fox varies person to person.

EDIT: This is a re-upload, I came back and added flat colours, feels more worthy to be up here now, It wasn't a sketch bundle or anything so I'm trying to keep pieces on FA Finished pieces or at least a bundle of 4 sketches (if they're not coloured at all).
