Sorry if it's been a while since I've last uploaded. Kinda got frustrated with what I was drawing and tried to switch it up. Instead of having someone stand, have someone sit instead! This was actually a bit of a trouble for me, I've rarely drawn anything that isn't human-like. The objects and background itself was definitely a challenge. I know that having someone stand in a gradient-like background gets old so I tried a lot in order to make this piece stand out (I say piece as if it's something worth a damn, pfft). The main problem I had was the chair. That caused a bit of frustration, especially with trying to make it look like he's leaning on it. You really don't want to look at the .sai file for this. It's a jumbled mess. Coloring the entire thing was a hassle and shading...ugh. Did I forget to mention I never drew a lion before? Yeah, this was my first time drawing one. Hope he looks good! Overall, this took way longer than it needed to but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out contrary to my pessimism from earlier! Just goes to show I need to practice more on, well, everything!
