well $5200 price tag includes many hundred hours of kitty labour, silver costs, research time and costs, stone and pearl cost. plus a markup for proffit's sake. and since its jewelry i have to calculate a pricetag as if i was selling in a store incase it does go on consingment

with 4 years of learning the jewelry trade..box and stands were made with help from my mom and dad with their skills in various fields

wow, is each piece on the braclet annd neclace hindged or is it welded in sections, is what i ment thou. just asking cause this is urging me to dust off my tig welder and soldering gun and try to finish some projects that are lying around.

total hours over 500...maybe over 600...dont remember exact ammount. box and stands inside are hand made and stained for the wood and so on...thats why the huge price tag..all the hours of labour and reseach that went into it

that must take some dedication. and for that ammount of work, the price is understandable. i could never afford it, but understandable. also, are you going to a college or something for silversmithing? if thats what it is.

i would like to but the price tag for platinum would be close to a million, in gold would be close to 100 000
those funds are non existant to 99% of the population myself included
