This piece was inspired by one of the replies to a call for requests I posted on Tumblr a few days ago. I original wanted to execute them all through quick sketches, but not only there were too many of them, I also couldn't help but put the detail in them to make them... well... presentable. Chief among them was this request for Rarity and Fluttershy as ballet dancers, which I just had to elaborate on, taking inspiration from my recent rewatch of the anime series Princess Tutu. If you haven't watched this, please do. It may not be for everyone, but it's seriously my favorite anime ever - and I've seen a lot in my time.
