BEEN thinking about Cressida a bit lately and wanted to practice drawing some scenes ;o;

Cressida can be a bit of a loner and may self-isolate and shes gotta work on that

cressida has a tendancy to self-isolate a bit? she does it out of protection for herself as she’s moved constantly around the country as a kid in a military family, so she did it out of preservation. she didnt want to get attached to the people in her new surroundings just to move like 2-3 years down the road and possibly never see them again.

but now she’s moved out of her parent’s place, while they continue moving around the country shes trying to set up roots in a town in Nevada. the closest thing shes got to roots is her grandma in florida, who she always calls and her grandma mails her presents randomly.

shes a bit of a lonely soul and has to keep reminding herself she can let her hair down and grow attached to people because shes not going anywhere, and yet may have a hard time bonding as people dont seem to ‘get’ her.

at the same time struggles with the feeling of being ‘stuck’ in places. sometimes she feels stuck in the town shes picked to live in when there’s nothing to do or when she starts developing routines. so she frequently picks up and travels elsewhere whenever she starts feeling stuck.
