Alright, so this is an older picture I needed to get uploaded from when
colby-hedgey came over last. lol Apparently she snuck a picture of me when I wasn't looking when I took her up to check out my work restoring the interior. lol not a fan of how wide I look on her camera but I figured you guys were due for an update on the Cassandra situation! She's coming along well but slow for now as I pull together the money for the next big push. My friend Ian is coming down to start working on the engine and getting her going, and until then I'm going to replace the ignition (which has been giving me NOTHING BUT TROUBLE) and pop rivet metal back into the trunk. It's Galvanized rust resistant metal and it's only for the floor pans if they need it and the trunk which does. I will not make a habit of using such a method on the rest of her but I'm trying to shore her up enough to get back on the road. I'll keep you guys posted as her recovery continues.

lol I wouldn't dream of keeping you in the dark! And interesting new development is that I've been personally invited to take Cassandra to a nearby Classic Car Show just up the street by the guy in charge. I met him just Saturday and he said once I got her running I should bring her over! He was driving this beat up old "Van Detta" which was so cool looking I had to grab a picture! I'll upload that here soon!
Wish i could commend to all,but my tadlet lags on the keyboard, still i will upload more of his pictures soon...but the bad is that he needs a new battery soon and new tires, but since you know about cars, what can i use to make is shiny, cause its starts pilling of?
Thank you so much, cause this weekend,me and my sister will will clean him,and use silicone so we can fix the frond light that the part that cover it up,fix the back speakers stick the frond one,and use like a metal to cover the very bad broken parts of the mask..
Hehe ol Colby sounds like a hoot.
That's a nice little clearing you've made for yourself bro, looks like the color is coming back to that grass, a nice lovely green. Gotta say there's worse places to be stuck for years. Though I'm sure Cassandra's belly would disagree saying it would have preferred cement lol. That dirty lil belly.
Lol are those hunks of asphalt you layed on her head? XD How ungentlemanlike. I guess with the shape her noggin is in there's not much more harm you could do to it now that I think about it though.
What's the temperature like down there these days? I'm betting that greaser jacket isn't cool when it's warm out.
This whole photo looks almost like the little painting I got for you and never sent lol.. I'll bring it to you in person.

lol she really is!
lol yeah it comes and it goes. Thankfully she's not as badly overgrown as she had originally been. There was absolutely no opening or closing the door or walking up to her without having to wade through a sea of tall dead grass. It actually took awhile before I learned there was more of her below the bumper. So it's pleasing to see it's stayed gone after my efforts.
lol And rocks. There's some along the sides to, it helps the tarp from blowing away. It's already torn and left to its own devices to be it's Harbor Freight-y self, it would surely allow the wind to tear it asunder.
XD good eye, and it's warm. I really need to start wearing my summer leather again. It's getting a bit hot to be rocking the winter jacket despite how much I like the lapels. Though in fairness it's good heat resistance training for fursuiting!
Oh wow! You got a painting for me? I deeply appreciate that! Thank you!!

I'm curious to see how she and I get along. I'd like to think I'm easy to like, but I've only just met her online recently. Heck I'm kinda hoping you still like me as much when it's in person. ^^;
What did you do? Go out there with a weed wacker or a lawn mower?
Yeah I getcha. I think you just have an extra crappy store or something. That 200 dollar garage I got that you were so nervous about? It was surviving 60MPH winds last week when we had a storm up here, no joke, and it still looks practically new. lol
That's crazy dude, it's gonna be so nutty leaving here where it's still around 40 or 50 degrees most days and hen going down there and being hot. So should I bring my shorts and muscle shirts? I'm gonna see if I can find my old Quint clothes, hopefully they didn't get thrown away, the cat pissed on the bag they were in. >>
Oh hell dude, I've had this painting for a year, remember how I keep asking for your address? I've been meaning to send it to you.

lol buddy I don't think meeting in person is going to be much different than talking online. You stress yourself out too much!
Nope, I just took this old rusted up metal handle and beat the grass down into submission and used this horizontal part at the end to rip out anything that was too intrusive. It was hot and tiring work in the Florida heat but I did it.
well hey you know what they say, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Bring whatever you think you'll need man! lol I don't want you to overheat! Alternatively I don't want to tell you it's going to be super hot only to have you come down here prepared for that only to have it get super cold.
lol well hey, at least now you can save on postage!

lol you'll be fine man.
Don't worry, well intentioned I might be, dim I am not. It was just all that was up there at the time and I didn't mind the excuse for a little workout.
I'm leery of anything that's sold at Harbor Freight.
About 80? Though it's 46 right now outside. We've been getting lots of cold spells down here lately.
