Right...
So a very long time ago, even before I asked Sage if I could remix Trapped in a Place, I asked
Vodka_Foot if I could remix the freestyling bass groovin' that was Pon Di Bass. All I have to say on this one... it's about damn time.

Very cool. I'm not familiar with the original, so I may end up assuming too much or little of you in regards to credit for aspects of this song. If so, whoops, sorry.
I really like the main beat, very cool (it also works nicely with vodka_foot's avatar :). I also like how a couple of minutes in it starts to incorporate some distorted sounds, which contrast very nicely with the main beat. There also seems to be some 'world' influence here, but I could be entirely wrong (I'm more familiar with art terms than musical ones, but music genres intermix so much these days it's hard to distinguish them). At the very least, it definitely has some unusual stuff to break it up and make it more interesting than other, more repetitive (and uninspired) techno songs. Which this track obviously isn't: it's quite good.
So, yeah, nice job! Fav'ed, and downloaded!

Whoa. I like you already. Thank you for your wonderful, remarkably insightful comment and I'm very glad you enjoyed the song. I definitely tried to be outside the box with this one, but I'm into distortion with a lots. It'd be great if you could hear the rest of my stuff, but I realize that's probably just wishful thinking.
Well, I'll see if I can! I'm always looking for more music to add to my burgeoning collection. And thank you, that's very kind of you! I'll definitely be trying to check out your other stuff in the next couple of days...
Oh, and, prepare for the tide of longcomments...
But, yeah, and you're welcome! Glad to be of help.

Oh, believe me, I'm prepared. You gotta be willing to take it if you can dish it out. If I like an artist, music or traditional, I not only watch them and favorite the stuff I first find, but I also go through the whole of their gallery from the very first submission. But that's just be being a stalker.
