Finally at the North Meadowlands, Dawn finally gets to meet Vernon's Mother Audrey. Dawn is nervous about finally meeting one of Vernon's parents face to face, but her fears are compounded by the fact that the she wolf insists Dawn ride in the front of her truck, while the Hunter males ride in the truck bed. Despite her reluctance, Dawn ends up riding alone with the she wolf, worrying about how to get a conversation rolling without Vernon's help.
