Another background experiment, was originally going to be a coastal shoreline, but then I put a Macross spin to it, after seeing episode 13 of Macross frontier.
Also, I experimented with some lighting effects to make it more moody.

It's always a shame that when a colony lands, the ship that defended it till that point just seems to get abandoned, since it's no longer needed (what with bases being built across the surface that can provide better weapons coverfire and stuff)

well in Macross frontier, that was the SDF-4 global was destroyed, the macross herself is still on earth as part of the planets global defense network. And when you mean SDF-7, Are you talking about battle froniter? or battle 7 from macross 7?

I knew this looked familiar, its when Alto and Ranka found the remains of the macross "global" in which was the incident of 11 years ago in the frontier saga story
