How... odd. That character bears a *striking* resemblance to my own fursona, a dragonfox. http://i.imgur.com/frRaq4u.jpg I'm not sure if that's a matter of inspiration, copy pasta, or just a massive coincidence. Regardless, I think it's really cool. :3
Edit: nope, only in this picture. Other art makes it nowhere near resembling mine. Still love this piece though! Looks just likeep the game and the fact this one kinda looks like me ish makes me even more attached to it. XD

The limited information density on the NitW art is gorgeous but also means you have to sacrifice most of the detials that make a character unique. I think Tek did well keeping the assymetry of the character a bit while following most (but not all, wings/tails arent in nitw) of the design conventions of Scott Benson's creation.
Accusations of copypasta kind of hurt though considering (though I am glad you looked at Luxe's source).
Your character is cute, but definitely very very different from mine.

Please, don't misunderstand. I in no way attempted to accuse anyone. I apologize if I offended. I urge you to note that I wasn't sure , based on that piece, if there was any kind of inspiration based-on or that or just a coincidence.
In this case, turned out all three were wrong - it looked from that piece alone like they were similar and that was not the case when I looked at other pieces. Again, I sincerely apologize for any implications that I may have made. Your character is distinct, interesting, and I found myself feeling very bad about making an assumption on a single bit of art. If I could delete that comment entirely, I would.
I suppose I can hide it, but you've already seen it, so there's no point. So instead, please, accept this olive branch and possibly a virtual fruit basket as an attempt to make amends. :3

It's tempting, but money is an issue. I don't have nearly enough art of my characters because of this (mostly the ref sheets for two and a couple of me and the boyfriend) and I'd love to re-dress that issue... it's just that things keep coming up that have to take priority these days. :/
