This is a bowling alley I used to go to as a kid, closed for several years now. Last time I was here, in fact, it was still open. Didn't take long for local teenagers as well as scrappers to tear it apart.

Yeah I was very sad to see this place go. Besides bowling here I've eaten at the attached restaurant many times as well. They had fantastic burgers and milkshakes. That place held on about a year or two after the alley closed. Funny enough two things this place is sorely lacking now is a bowling alley and a good burger joint
Most commercial buildings seem to have a lifespan of 30 years here. Not that the construction is bad or anything like that. Its just when its bought by someone else they can't be bothered to fix what's already there. They usually tear it down, only to build something even more flimsy and cheap. Even historical buildings have succumbed to this desire for modernity. I honestly will never understand it
