I FINALLY got a tablet. When I unwrapped it from the mail I plugged it in right away to give it a go. I felt a little clumbsy in some areas and I cant' wait to keep playign with it all. I foudn the experience quite rewarding and a little frustrating. As for this piece...I'm not completely happy with it. I am perticularly not fond of the face. It was my first try at a new media for crying out loud so I shouldnt' be hard on myself.
If anyone has ANY advice or links to photoshop tutorials that may be helpful I am all ears and I can't wait to try it all out more later.

*smiles* This isn't bad at all for your first shot at drawing on a tablet. The posture is wonderful and I really like the way the hair came out.
Every artist I've known to go from paper medium to a tablet, has been frustrated by a lot of things with it, until they had the time to get to learn it. I have complete confidence that you'll end up loving the stuff you create with it. :D
