I agree! I used to love Barney when I was little, but it's now lame and I have the same feelings as the grown-ups who hated it when it first came out. I used to enjoy the songs (besides "I love you" & "Barney Is A Dinosaur") on that show, but I also find that really lame, especially they make my ears bleed.
And is it me, or did those kids seem way too old to wanna be playing with such a baby toy as Barney and go on his lame adventures? A real kid that age would look at his giant purple ass and run screaming, or if they're cool they'd be like "yo, fuck u Barney I'm playing Pokemon go away".
You mean those kids who were on the show? A lot of them really don't know how to act plus some of them ended up becoming stars on Disney Channel sitcoms later on. Their acting career started too early because of this stupid fictional purple dinosaur and his creator, Sheryl Leach who took their childhood away from them. When I was little, I had a crush on "big sister Lucy" from the early Barney seasons, but now I think she looked ridiculous on the show's kindergarten classroom setting because she was probably a teenager at the time when it started airing.
