And here's the human sized version. Smaller with touches to make it a bit more human-ish, since there are no beam weaponry that is human sized they are still forced to use solid round ammunition, but when the military upgraded their forces side arms to Gatling Pistols soldiers without mechs became more leathal, guards beacame more intimidating, but the inability for humans to take down a mech were still to be wishes for. The Gatling pistol, however, cannot provide this necissity but it does work wonders on enemy soldiers or when two pilots are forced into a situation where they much fight outside their mech suits.
The idea for such a weapon was inspired a long time ago when i had started role playing and I created this gun for a specific character. The only difference was their version of the weapon did fire beam rounds and could prove a danger to mechs. If only reality would allow for such interesting weapons to exist.
Oh almost forgot. The Gatling Pistol Human Version fires (until i find a different caliber round I like) 9mm rounds, and as before the laser sight proves very useful when aiming is left to guess work.

doesn't seem likely unless some exotic alloys, and/or smaller rounds (I'm not sure, but I think some actual gatling/minigun varieties use 5mm rounds) and/or fairly dramatic advancements in gunsmithing design.
certainly not possible with today's technology, and possibly outlawed by physics.
