NightVision, my pantheress superheroine, multitasking as she both hypnotizes a villain (represented by the viewer) and holds up a collapsing mine shaft.
Why it's collapsing, I'm not sure yet. Perhaps this is taking place below the spot where Roxie Roolan is punching a rock in this pic:

Or maybe the villain tried to hit her with something, missed, hit the shaft support, and now she's saving both of them while stopping the villain.
The original idea was to have her opening a slide-up door and surprising her opponent, but somehow it turned into this :).
