After the battle, Pheedback comes to his senses, having discharged all the negative electricity. He believes the tower has gone Haywire... literally- there's a wizard inside who has finally lost his mind, and caused the Power Plant to overcharge and blow a circuit. Pheedback was caught up in the electrical storm.
Along comes running a sort of.. mini version of Pheedback, his young brother Input. Input quickly helps replace his broken bulb, but shaking in his boots. The plant is a terrifying place without light, and the 'monsters' have come out from hiding, says Input. Pheedback says he'll guard around the Power Plants tower, but instructs Input to guide the player into the plant to find their third brother, Output.
Input doesn't argue, but he's not happy about the idea.
