Done yesterday night (yes, night -_-), while I was waiting for my train to pass. I had to get back home after a very hard day in Rimini, but all trains had something like 100 minutes at least of delay. Mine had 130 minutes of delay. Luckily, I had my sketchbook with me, so I managed to spend two hours doing something.
Now, let's get back to the drawing.
Following Roman myths, there were many kinds of sybils, one of that being the one living here in the Marche, on the Apennines (she gave the name to our part of the Apennines, "Monti Sibillini" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apenni.....tral_Apennines ). But I kind of mixed the concept of "ou" sibyl with the Cumaen one, whom Aeneas consulted before his descent to the lower world. If I recall correctly, she had destiny of every men written on leaves. Well, wheter correct or not, I liked the idea, so I drew this. In the background, you can see the mountain range of the Apennines, while the sibyl is choosing leaves set on a thread. If you look, you can see the word "TE" written on the central leaf, between her hands ("te" means "you" in Latin).
