Endless Realms bestiary - Tooth Fairy
Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Another one of the few non-dream-related creatures I did this block - here we have a somewhere-between-cute-and-horrible take on the tooth fairy :b I see them as non-malevolent but still potentially nightmare-inducing little critters that simply love to collect shiny white things - if you don't leave something out for them, they might come after the ones you're still using ;)

....Nightmare inducing to the max xD I'd panic and go flail around if I woke up to one or more of these critters trying to steal my teeth from my mouth. Just nope. *Pulls out duck tape.* Silence is golden but duct tape is silver. *Puts tape over mouth to keep the tooth fairies away.
Yeah, I know :S XD I recalled them from when it first came out, and I made a point of not looking them up and just trying to draw something not-quite-like-it but still insectoid/impish (to fit with some of the other fay I've done), and it turns out I apparently remembered them quite well because they still turned out really similar :b The big difference is I wanted mine to have, like... plier-claws, for when forcible tooth extraction is necessary >:3
