Yep, just what it says, red panda! I'm happy with this shot, even though he/she was being a little cunt about getting his/her picture taken the rest of the time. Seriously, I got like 8 pics, and every time I hit the shutter trigger, it would turn its head the other way.

Not a bad picture, I like his pose. One of the things I love about wildlife photography is the somewhat unpredictable nature of it, and the challenge of getting that perfect picture. With a little training any idiot can take pictures in a studio with perfectly metered lights and color scaled backdrops, but it takes a lot of practice, patience, skill, and luck to deal with all the variables involved with getting good pictures out in the field, with subjects generally refuse to cooperate.
Thank you. :) I do like to think I'm a half decent photographer. And not bad with an ancient ass 2.1mp camera, no? :) I have a newer one, but I don't like it as well. 7.1mp, but it's just plain not as good.
I'm hoping, within the next few days, to get off my ass and get my photo site back up. I've got some awesome shots of the city library here, our peace gardens, pride, shots of trips to ski resorts, sedona, and kanab, and some I'm really proud of, of fireworks. These also, as well as the metric fuckton of other pics I took at the zoo will be going up. :) These 5 or 6 were just the cream of the crop.
