I decided to do a redesign of one of my characters, specifically this one http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16410722/
name: citmon( latin=feCIT MONstrum: monster maker)
height: visually 5ft 4, not counting back appendages
weight: unknown
species: monster (unknown)
personality: paranoid, intelligent, creative, semi-pessimistic.
profession: freelance scientist and sorcerer
eye colour: red, green, yellow, blue and purple.
likes: cake, coffee, short story books, art, horror movies.
dislikes: beetroot, open doors, human beings.
appearance: wears a dark red and grey cloak with coppers accents. a frontal harness with an insignia. a belt holding test tubes with colourful liquids and belts. his face is covered in darkness but five different coloured eyes can be seen. on one arm is a purple, long nailed hand. on the other is a purple pincer with a metal claw. he has two appendages on his back, a mantis-like forearm with green colouring and a metallic, crane like arm with a hook at the end. he wears purple and black boots.
bio:
citmon is an unusual creature. traveling from an unknown land with very little history to tell. He was seen moving into an abandoned tower, sounds could be heard from within, screams, laughs, sparks, machinery, buzzing. and there were lights as well. rarely going out except for supplies, this strange looking person is an equally strange individual.
citmon works as a scientific and mystical advisor, inventor and designer. he will create whatever is needed by whoever wishes his services, for the right price. he is a creator at heart (if he has one) but acts similar to a merchant. he does not really have a judgement of good or evil, rather who bothers him and who uses his creations wisely.
he can genetically engineer organic material, construct machines large and small. has an understanding of biology, chemistry and physics, but also the mystical arts. he treats his creations dearly, ranging from familial friends to respected workmates. he is also never unarmed, carrying some of his creations on him, whether it be weapons, gadgets or other instruments. he is usually never seen without a strange coloured vial in his belt.
he is very paranoid and untrusting of others, he keeps everything he has locked up and out of harms way, and is jittery to the point he dashes off at the slightest sound.
apart from his odd business life and creations. citmon enjoys the usual luxuries such as sweets, hot drinks and a good book. al in moderation of course.
although there is not much to him at first, it is certain there is more then he wishes to reveal, the question is, what is he hiding, and do we really want to know?

I'm just going to go right out and say it...I do not know how to express my self...at least, not well, in a positive way. i cant make FURsona, but i can make a PERsona...at least, if you consider this a person.
so i looked into character development of such characters, i don't know if I'm any good at it, but id like to try. i decided this guy would be the best to start because I'm better at drawings things like this then humanoid animals...i mean I can draw humanoids, animals and both together as i get better i just...dont. Im not very outgoing so a lot of my characters have cloaks or masks to hide themselves. I don't think anything good happens in the world and I'm always expecting the worst so their all villains or paranoid. and of course, I love horror films, and bizarre creatures, so i draw monsters...also I'm not good with details, which is probably a key element in character making but i just cant do it all at once, it takes me a VERY long time to think through those things..
really i cant draw a human, or a furry, with as much enthusiasm. but i can draw a humanoid centipede, or a cobra, THOSE are what I'm about, the unique weird quality and if creativity means what i think it means...im glad I'm at least good at the things I can do.

id like to thank rainy chaos a.k.a akita.echo for her informative video on making fursonas, its what inspired me to post this^^ I don't know them that well and i probably barley used anything mentioned in her video...but I AM grateful, and despite everything, I hope they are ok.
