The Disney version never tells you about the terribl dynastic rule the Royal Weiners soon wrought upon the land, enslaving and "civilizing" the other tribes, hiking up astronomical tariffs on all goods, selling racoons and pine martens like sleazy prostitutes, brutally wiping out all naysayers and switly quashing even the tiniest whiff of rebellion. Oh gods above, the fighting, the torturing, the inbreeding, oh such horrors they dig bring upon the forest people's, not to mention the wretched hovels in which the sick and destitute were forced to dwell while the porcine aristocracy leered down on them from their ill-gotten wealth, wallowing in their heaps of filth and, ironically, sterling white pearls.
