Do you attend any fur conventions?
And trust me, you'll find more like you than you may realize.
You and River should come to FC or maybe AC. I prefer FC (Further Confusion) as I think it's a better venue.
But AC seems more centrally located for many others.
Then of course, you could come up the coast to Furfright (www.furfright.org).
If you both attend a venue that I'm at, you & River are more than welcome to come by for tea.
