I'm a huge fan of Daria and I kick myself for not watching it earlier in my life (I finally watched it in full in 2014) and while I did find myself connecting a bit with Daria herself, I found myself connecting much more with her best friend Jane Lane. Growing up, while I was shy and had a snarky sense of humor, I did find myself optimistic and generally friendly and of course, I was (and still am) into art. So yeah, Jane Lane was pretty much "my spirit animal" as the kids say xD So I drew Kai cat dressed up as Jane and I really like how it turned out :)
