Corbyn reached into the chest and pulled out a blue gem that shimmered brightly, yet very strangely. It felt odd in his hand, too. A deeply synthetic feeling which soon washed over his entire being.

"Recalibration initiated. new A.I. program online. Converting knowledge banks." Corbyn thought this very clearly. It wasn't as if the thought was from another source, either. Those thoughts came FROM him! He was genuinely feeling something different, as if his entire mind had become a complex computer simulation.

As soon as he'd taken stock of this, the entire gemstone grew to encase him, locking his body into a powerful, metallic shell. Internally, he felt veins replaced with wires, organs swapped with processing units, and even his own heart replaced by a powerful energy generator.

He could hardly do anything as his systems began processing new codes for how to function and downloading new instincts and information on how to use his new form and all of its arsenal and features.

"Conversion complete," Corbyn thought to himself, "Genesect is now online."

That is when his conscious mind took over and Corbyn realized just what had happened.

I honestly debated about this one. It's hard to come up with something I haven't changed Corbyn into. But then this idea finally clicked n my head. Something very off-the-wall and different, but also an exciting mindset adjustment. Plus it's been awhile since I've drawn genesect, so... Yay!
