not the best picture and you can't even see all of them but i don't want to stress her anymore today as i already had to take out the soiled bedding and put her babies in a box and remove her mom and sister with her hissing and trying to bite me the whole time.
i have to take her mom and sister away because the babies were trying to nurse off of them they were getting smushed by the 3 laying together... and the rescue leader says the mom and sister will not lactate unless she is pregnant or has her own babies and they just got spayed so...anyway it would hurt the kittens to suckle a dry teat as they not only get no food but they suck in air.
so i feel sad to seperate them but it is for the best. so the mom/grandmom and sister will be returned to the college campus to live out their lives, fed, monitered and now vaccinated and spayed. TNR (trap neuter return) is a program set up by the united states animal coallition as the best way to deal with feral cats, i have trapped 6 and after i release the 2 tonight i will have returned 5 cats to the college campus altered and vaccinated.
and mama will stay here with her babies for a month, maybe longer depending on if she is still so terribly wild by then. then i will take the baies to be bottle raised as pets and she will be spayed and returned.
these are only a few hours old.

Thank you again for helping TNR programs. IMO it's the best way to deal with this until people are educated enough to realize the impact a simple neutering of their pet can do.
Awww! I love torties, and I love tuxedos. Tuxedo torties are the best thing EVER!
Someday I'll have one. But so far, choosing my pets by personality rather than looks, I've ended with a brown classic tabby, a black and white not exactly tuxedo (it's like she's been partying too hard and her tuxedo is all messed up. It cracks me up) and a big red boy. I've always had a soft spot for red boys, so this one was a lucky match. ^_^
