A sketch for the alternate bracers that I will build for my fursuit.

It'll be made with a leather background and 14 colored cloth strips (2 per color) braided on top
I'm quite happy with that color pattern - I've tried a few.

You can see 2 patterns emerging:

A kindof dotted, twirled diamond pattern in each color (no, they don't resemble a Swastika. )

and 3 horizontal "bands or stripes" where the colors match in 3 consecutive tiles - they would be more obvious if there were no pencil lines. These will then go around the wrist on the borders and the middle
