Mocmex - A trojan virus first found in digital picture frames, this virus seeks out passwords for online games. Mocmex is also capable of blocking antivirus programs and can spread to portable storage devices plugged into infected computers.
Nimda - Named for the reverse spelling of ‘admin’, this virus used multiple infection vectors, such as emails, shared networks, and even backdoors left behind by other viruses to quickly become the most widespread worm of its time.
Brain - Considered the first MS-DOS virus, Brain was originally built as copy protection for medical software. Third parties then copied and separated the Brain code and released it as a standalone virus.
