Here is a rare sight, caught for the first time in our wild life camera: the elusive wolverine (Gulo gulo), fierce hunter of the cold north, seen here in its natural habitat, right after securing her meal for the night, and shortly before she sets off to glomp it in a demonstration of sheer avidness that shows us how this fascinating animal earned its other name: the glutton.

What a magnificent specimen, too! The hunt seems to have been generous to her lately. Amazing!
