Well i guess it wasn't as hard as I had originally thought to draw up a shield and then crop the handle from the Mech sword into the image and place it behind the shield. Anyhow, the shield will protect from most weapons, with exception to the Beam Bazooka or a nuclear warhead and happens to have its own way of inflicting damage. The spike at the (what I would call ) the bottom of the shield can be fired at an opponent and attached to the spike is a chain or strong cable that will let it be realed back in to fire again. The idea of the spike being retreavable is more or less the same as what the Blitz Gundam uses for its claw, or the Nueziel and its claws. So either in close with an enemy using the sword that is housed in the top of the shield, or at mid range using the retreavable spike, this combination is a menacing force to be reckoned with.

And if i can decide on something close to an insignia (depending on its complexity) it would go in the BIIIIIG empty space between the four indentions on the shield.
