Nice chain how much would something like this cost (with maybe a little bit more of a loose weave)?

With the chain being 21 or 22 inches its a "throat chain" which would be perfect for hanging a peridot pendant off of (given lore says you keep it close to your throat) or any other crystal accordingly.

Well depends on what weave, how fine you want it and a few other factors. But a chain out of silver along these lines would be $125+

As for looser a 3-1 persian may be more along the lines of what you are looking for but I have many,many differant weaves to choose from.

*chuckles* Yes this would be a good length for the throat. But some people think differently I have seen. Some people believe that peridot should be worn near the heart or solar plexus and you would need a longer chain for that.

Yeah probably about 24 or 25 inch for heart and 29-30 for sacral plexus (Ive measured this). I can understand that belief given the properties and uses of that stone (given its what I purchased it for). Its just I read somewhere about it being around the throat but I guess its personal preference.

Yeah something as heavy as this does tend to take away from what you would put on it as the tight weave tends to show the metal rather than what would be put on it (that looks like it has alot of metal in it) but I commented because the idea of a hand made chain would make sense for my issue and I was curious. I also liked the pattern/weave just not as heavy or thick as this one so yeah maybe a 3-1 (more open chain?) with a little bigger ring (less fine?) may be good to open the chain itself up a lil while still giving it some "weight". Id likely get it in something that wasn't a precious metal (like Stainless) if it were available as well because its not really that appropriate for my pendants and tastes (as I have several).

I will give it some more thought though and contact you later about it and when I am ready to commit (as well as other weave patters I may like and find.

Non-precious metals are always available like stainless steel, copper, aluminum, brass etc.

3-1 is very similar but has one concave and one convex side instead of being more of a rectanglular shape like the 4-1 shape. And can be made fairly loose.
