Hey all! I know it's been ages since I have posted. My art has been taking me in new directions since I have moved :) Here are some sneak peaks at what I've been up to.. better documenting is coming, I promise :)
These were part of a big printmaking slam we had on campus a while ago. The image to the far left is a lithographic print, while the other two are aquatinted intaglio. More information on their concepts and method of production will be touched on when the big photos come in. Enjoy!

Litho and Aqutiniting is hella fun!! Is Printmaking your major, or just a filler class? I minored in PM, so it is always refreshing to see another traditional print maker well...anywhere! Lol! You should seriously look into wood block for some of your character as well!! Don't ever stop printing, keep the art alive!!

Yes, printing is my major! Intaglio practices are by far my favorite, especially as far as aquatint is concerned! Ahh yes woodblock.. almost went to a big seminar on woodblock, exclusively, in San Fran this summer.. but it overlapped my New York trip.. do'h!! Soon though, I am sure! Thank you! Where did you go for printing? :)
New York! *swoon* Have fun and stay safe out there! I used to live about 2 hours from San Fran...*sigh* wish I still did so I could go to that seminar! :P That is AWESOME that your major is printmaking!! I actually went to RSAD...before they changed thier name to RCAD O.o;; Aaanywho, some really awesome teachers there in the FA department, I miss the studio environment sooo much. :/

I didn't know RSAD had changed their name, but maybe everyone I spoke to about it was behind the times X) Interesting! Still I hear it is a great place!
We have plans on getting pizza for sure :) I'm from STL, who has their own style pizza, and of course that's close to Chicago, who has THEIR pizza.. so now, true NY pizza is the last test of who has the best! We're excited, lol
