My second favorite Final Fantasy game too. I love FFXII. Only FFVI beats it

I was actually influenced by FF Tactics Advanced/2. I'm really not a fan of XII

The only Tactics that I loved was the original. I loved FFXII for it's serious, darker and more mature storyline than FF is known for. the political approach was a breath of fresh air. The gameplay desperately needed to happen. The musical score was different but equally brilliant. The voice work and quality of writing were far above anything Final Fantasy has ever done before, and it was well directed. The characters were excellent too

Well, maybe I'm just shallow, but I most certainly don't like politics politics politics. Also, the main character seemingly had nothing to do with the storyline. :/

It's just not the same Final Fantasy, and since I liked Final Fantasy as it was, I don't really appreciate the changes. I think that maybe they should have made it some sort of offshoot of FF, not a main game.

Final Fantasy XII does not have a main character. It has too grand of a scope to have a main character. It just has a group of character swept up in a conflict that is much larger than them.

My all time favorite FF is Final Fantasy VI. I love that game so very much
