A single page gag done for Gladstone comics around 1994.Other than some Aladdin comics I did for Acclaim a couple of years later, this was the only time I ever got an opportuniuty to draw major Disney characters. This was most likely published in Europe.
Unfortunately, as you can see here, my pencils ended up getting a pretty mediocre inking job applied to them , but other than that,I'm proud to say that I did get to draw my hands-down,all time favorite Disney character...good ol' Uncle Scrooge McDuck! I loved "Ducktales".
I've seen myself as an enterprising person all my life, always thinking of better ways to do business. This is a wonderful lesson, Rusty, and I think the self-employed among us can REALLY appreciate the message. In fact, it's given me some new ideas already. ^_^

You got to draw a Disney character? COOL!
I visited Italy over the years and I used to read Disney comics there so much. It's a shame that the adventures of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Scrooge, etc. don't get the levels of attention here in the USA like they do in Europe.

I don't know why, but Donald Duck and his family were always my favorite characters in comics and short movies...mainly Barks and Don Rosa, but also the Italian artists...their stories had always that living touch, you know, that reality a Superman comic will never have....
I agree 100 %, my friend.Mr. Barks was one of a kind. As I said earlier, I consider him to be one of the "unofficial official" founding fathers of the Anthro/Furry comic art genre as we know it. Mr.Barks' work, and the work of OMAHA creator Reed Waller were by far my two biggest influences as a budding Anthro artist.
